CZ mod 2E .22 magnum help and introduction.

First of all hi from South Africa and a short intro. I'm a keen hunter and firearms enthusiast. I have a specific liking for the older Brno Mod 21/22 rifles, as well as the Rimfires. I work as a A&E doctor in rural SA, and do some part time PH work time permitting. Apart from the Brnos that range from .22 to .458 Lott I recently found another interest to spend my hard earned cash on int the form of a beautiful pre-WWI George Gibbs .450-.400 3&1/4" double.

I came across this forum via a fantastic, in depth article on Brno mod 1,2 and 5s.

I recently purchased a .22 mag as mentioned above, and received the rifle per courier after it had been taken apart. In the process, the clown who packed it had lost an action screw.

I would appreciate it if someone who owns a similar rifle could assist me with a diagram or photos of the action to stock assembly. It differs from the Mod 2E .22 longrifle, of which a diagram is available on the web.

mushy synthetic stock buttpad???

I have an old 452 Style with the black synthetic stock. The soft buttpad has turned to mush. Leaves a blck mark on whatever touches it. This pad was glued on, there are no screws. Anyone ese have this problem? The LGS has Kick-ez pads, but they seem to be a similar rubbery material, as do the Simms pads. I would like something abit firmer.
