Will i need a 25 Moa Rail for my CZ 457?

Hello to all, i`m from Germany but as in the US are far more firearm owners i thought i might get better answer here than in some german forums.

I´ve got my new CZ 457 Royal chambered in 22 lr yesterday and because this rifle came with a dovetail rail i have attached a Weaver Rail from CZ with 0 MOA.
I will use that rifle for hunting from 20 to 100 yards. 120 yards in absolutely worst case.

I will attatch a Diamondback Tactical 4-16 FFP to that rifle.
I`m not a rimfire guy and usually only shoot centerfire so i wonder if i will ned a 20 or 25 MOA mount for distances at 100 yards or if a standard mount will still work?

Thanks for your help in advance!

fktshooting - First off :Welcome: to the RFC and congratulations on the acquisition of your CZ 457 Royal. :bthumb: The Royal can be had with a 16.5″ barrel or a 20.5″ barrel . . . which one did you get? I'm sure the Royal will bring you many years of shooting enjoyment. :) :D. :t.

Since RFC members have covered the scope questions for you we will not add anything in that area. However, I do have a question for you being from Germany. What kinds of 22 LR ammo do you have available to you? I believe most CZ 457 rifles are tested with RWS ammo of some type. However, as with all barrels you should test various types to determine which one provides the best accuracy for your particular rifle.

We always suggest pictures if you are able . . . hint hint. ;)

I do have the 16.5" model and have a Brügger & Thomet suppressor attached but may change it against a A-Tec CMM.
Beeing a hunter and owning a couple of higher class german built rifles I'm very happy about the built quality. The wood is very nice and the built quality of the bolt also.
I really like the wooden stock but probably have to buy another CZ for an aftermarket stock such as MDT.

Waiting for the Warne rings to mount the scope now.

For a firearm guy like me Germany is not the best place to be (we only have about 1 Million people holding a license) but I have the privilege holding a hunting, sporting and collectors license so I'm not really limited in what I can buy.
In ammunition we have a great selection, all the European brands as RWS, Lapua, Geco, SK and so on and also the big American brands like CCI, Federal and Winchester are available. That means a lot of ammo testing has to he done.

I'll attach some photos but right now we have a lockdown in Germany and unfortunately we are only allowed to go shooting at gun ranges so testing ammo for the best groups will take some more weeks. I wish I could shoot in the backyard but here we would most likely go to prison for that.
Will add some more photos once the rifle is complete.

Excuse me if my english isn't perfect, unfortunately not my main language.
