Hello guys. Need a quick opinion on something. I have the chance to buy from a guy I know a Mossberg 44US(a) rifle that looks to be pretty minty. Aside from a few scratches where the front side hood slides off and on, and a bit of very minor wear on the rear sight from manipulation only, the rest of the rifle I'd easily call 98-99% The rear sight is an S-100 and the front sight is an S-101 that is complete, minus the front sight hood is missing. The magazine is there. I was told he got it from an estate sale, and I just cant imagine it was shot a ton based on the condition I can see in the photos. I know the guy, so anything he tells me about the rifle can be trusted but I'm not sure he even shot it since he's bought it. But assuming everything I've described is accurate, would 300 be a decent price for this? It's not negotiable, as that's what he paid and I think he's just looking for the same amount back. What say you guys? I have not seen the rifle in person yet, but from the decent pictures I've seen my grading should spot on. Should I consider this model at this price? Thanks!
