Stopped by last week out of the blue at a local pawn shop and checked out some of the old and unusual ones they had. Passed on a bolt action shotgun for a cute little $119 semi-automatic rifle. I'd heard of the name, but that's about it - called a buddy to tell him of it as he was looking for something like that. Turns out he passed on it, and when I went back 3 hours later it was now $99 - so I grabbed it.
Brought it home a few days later (Illinois waiting period), gave it a good cleaning and it seems like it'll be a fine shooter. Said buddy has a scope he'll sell me cheap, so I'll be able to add that. BTW, what do you call the rails when they are literally just grooves in the receiver body? Warne, dovetail?
The bolt mechanism is interesting to remove and reassemble - I may make a video specifically addressing this as the ones on youtube aren't the best, and I see a lot of folks have issues with re-assembly.
