Hi everyone, this is my first post although I've been a member for some time.
I purchased my MTR about a month ago and quickly went down a rabbit hole with upgrades and mods. I am a non competetive centerfire shooter who primaraly hunts woodchucks and handloads.
Since I'm 69 yrs old it's getting tougher to achieve the consistancy, so I thought that rimfire would help keep me in tune. The gun now has a oryx chassis, jard trigger and an L3i barrel.
I'm still testing ammo and have primarily shot at 50 yards with decent groups.
earlier this week, a pair of guys were at the 100 yard bench shooting. They packed it up and before they left, covered their shots on a splatter target. Since the 100 yard benches are about 20 yards to the side, I decided to put some rounds on the target they left. I didn't want to dope up the turrets I aimed for the number 9 scoring marker on the target. With the exception of the first shot, the remaining 9 were very close together measuring .516! I don't now if that's considered good or bad, but I was pleased.
