I was cleaning my dog's kennel when I saw a skunk acting erratically. I grabbed my 22/45 lite from my range bag and went to take a look. It took 3 shots, but I took care of what was probably a rabid skunk yesterday. My Ruger 22/45 lite with a Gemtec suppressor, wears a Riton 3 Tactix EED, and is sighted in for 25 yards, so the first shot was a tad low and the next 2 were right in the target. It seems like I have been seeing 1-2 skunks/raccoons during the day almost every month. My suppressed 10/22 now sits unloaded inside a closet for easy access.
