I did a Appleseed rifle event in the spring and was hoping to do another one this spring. Looking at the website and checking into neighboring western states, I was thinking I could combine a road trip with a clinic, but I was surprised that many states don’t have any events scheduled . I liked the programs emphasis on fundamentals and sling use and really think it’s a great starter program for youth and new shooters. Hopefully more areas can get clinics started. Just my two cents…

I participated in one in December in Charlotte it was literally 20 minutes from my house and so convenient. Now there aren’t any scheduled in Charlotte and the rest are 1.5 hours (doable) or up to 3+ hours away. That takes a great affordable shoot and makes it a little more complicated. I’m hoping more will pop up!
