I have a few Nikon Rimfire scopes and I would like another one like the one in the thread title. Nikon is now out of the scope business.

Any suggestions about present day rimfire scopes that are equal in value and features, for a reasonable cost? I am also considering a 4 - 12 x 40 scope for my RAR in .22 mag.

Thanks,
Larry

Some of the past 3-9 scopes I've owned lose a bit of focus when changing from 3x to 9x. The fast focus eyepiece might require a nudge to satisfy me. Also, focused scopes at 70 yards, blurs a bit, sometimes a lot, when the subject I'm shooting at, is at 30 yards. That is most obvious when the scope is at 9x. The Prostaff Rimfires I have fast focus eyepiece. I like them. I also wear glasses. A grandson can quickly focus the scope to fit his vision. We can switch the rifle to me, and I can focus the scope to fit me. No fiddling with the lock ring.
