Received contact information from Neal Waltz. He retired and turned the die fabrication over to Greg Walley. I have a die on order. Following is Greg’s response.

“22 rimfire ammunition bullet modification dies are now in continuous production.

These dies are the original design by Neal B. Waltz, who has been making them for over 30 years.

Neal asked that I take over the business of making and selling these dies. He has retired from the business.

To order, please send a check or money order made out to Greg Walley for $180, plus $15 shipping for a total of $195.

Pricing has increased since posting this. Please contact Greg Walley for current pricing.

The dies will be sent by USPS Priority Mail. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

Thanks for your interest and best regards,

Greg Walley

I have been in correspondence with Mr. Walley for the past couple of months. He responds quickly to my texts, but be informed that he is very busy, and has had problems with his machinery. I ordered my NW die set back in the beginning of August, and still have not received my order. 4-6 week delivery time is a little conservative. It will be more like 2-3 months for a delivery. Also, I was told to send a money order for $220, not $195. If you contact Greg directly, he is a very nice guy, but sounds like he may be a little overwhelmed with the orders, so patience will be a virtue here. 🇺🇸👍🏼

The Neil Waltz die is not for reloading. It is for turning 22lr ammo into either hollow point, or as NW calls it, Eley nipple tip. If you look at Eley Match or Eley Team, the crown of their ammo has a little nipple on it. Supposedly helps with better accuracy. This is a bullet reshaping die only. I don’t waist my time reloading 22 ammo. If you buy non match grade ammunition, you can use this die to make them match grade, supposedly. I’m still waiting on my order from 2 months ago. Can’t wait to see if it’s worth the effort.

Send him a follow up correspondence email or text. Greg is a nice guy, but I feel he is overwhelmed with orders since his product is so unique and effective. He prioritizes people who are in constant communication with him. He also travels a lot, so make sure he knows about your wait time already… good luck.

I agree. I was told that my die was going out with a certain batch within 4-6 weeks, as well as him having issues with his tooling machine. I stayed on the peddle with Mr.Walley to make sure my product was delivered. Reach out to him to make sure he knows you are waiting patiently. I sent him a money order for $220 that seemed a little shady, but I put my trust in him, since he was entrusted by Mr. Neil Waltz to take over the business.
Remember, you are not dealing with Amazon or some other reputable company that has a track record. We are all taking a chance here. I got mine, so I can attest the product will get delivered eventually. You just need to stay on top of it unfortunately….
