Almost everything Lapua/SK has been scarce for the last year.

 

One of my inside sources tells me a big shipment is due to be released in march 2023.
I am hoping for more SK as well. My source tells me several shipping containers full of lapua and SK ammo is sitting on the east coast, Waiting to be pushed to dealers

Im lucky enough to have a local shop that sells Center X at 150$ a brick after tax and all. I feel spoiled with the given market conditions.

 

I heard today that they changed all the lines to make the new long range (that sucks)and are now trying to change the lines back, so good luck finding any good center x even when they start making it again. No one I know had anything good to say about the long range stuff.

 

Your source should really be checked. It is not true that "all the lines" were changed over. Long Range, Midas+, Center-X are all manufactured on the same line and graded into each category per Lapua specs. If they changed them over on only Long Range, then why is Midas+ and Center-X still being shipped?

As for the Long Range quality, I can verify that multiple new F-SBR records were set at the Mid-Atlantic 6400 match that was held from last Thursday through Sunday. Seeing the groups first hand, it was VERY good ammunition.

 

Lapua match ammo is the same ammo sorted by SD and velocity.
I did shoot both LR and SLR and won a benchrest match with it .
CenterX adn Lapua i general is not likely to be found retail .. you need to work with a dealer or testing center

 

 

Are people actually thinking that Lapua isn't shipping Center-X?

A shipment of Center-X just came into the US a couple weeks ago. Dealers were getting it and selling out right away. I got lucky last week and found a few bricks from two different dealers. I just received one shipment on Tuesday and the other yesterday. My friend sent me an email from a local guy who just got some and is selling bricks and cases. I'm about to hit him up too
