What does" FTF" and "FTE" mean

I keep seeing these abbreveations in posts . Can anyone shed some light ?

FTF is failure to feed and FTE is either failure to extract or failure to eject. Lot of people try to use FTF for failure to "fire", but that generally causes confusion unless the person further explains his /her problem and we can deduce from that what he means. Generally the proper term when a loaded gun "fails to go bang" when the hammer/firing pin drops is misfire.

The confusion over FTF is why I use the term FTB, Failure to Bang, for misfires/duds as opposed to feed failures.

I think I'm gonna start using FTX for Failure to EXtract, and leave FTE for failure to eject, which in my experience is much more common.
