I ordered a barreled action from Vudoo Gun Works and 28 days later it was ready to ship. Ms. Jill was very helpful with everything during this process. I can't say enough how much I appreciate all her help...she made it easy!!
My final decision was a V-22S Right Bolt Left Port with a Shilen Ratchet barrel. I also added a Jewell BR Trigger to it. I asked for the longest barrel that slugged properly and received one finished out at 26 1/4 inches. The barreled action and trigger weighed in at 7 lbs.

Picked up my rifle friday after work, dropped it into a MDT ACC Premier Chassis and was ready for the range the following day. Got lucky as we had good weather for testing a new setup. We started the day with no wind flags but as the day went along the wind picked up so out came the flags. The wind was very low and switchy at 2 to 3 MPH with gust of 5 to 7 MPH.

We put 400 rds through it while at the range yesterday. Spent the first 100 or so rounds adjusting stock and scope positions. Ammo of the day was SK Rifle Match, SK Standard Plus, SK Pistol Match Special, Lapua Midas +, Eley Target, Eley Tenex and Eley Match.

I would clean the barrel when changing to a different brand of ammo. I put a wet patch of Bore Tech C4 in the chamber for about 5 minutes, push 3 or 4 dry patches and repeat this one more time.....no brush used. This will be my cleaning routine on this barrel after every shooting session.

I am very very happy with my new rifle!!! :D :D :D :D

All groups are 5 shots at 50 yds.

I haven't measured but will as soon as I get a chance. With so many groups it's hard to explain all of them......I was playing with wind shifts on quite a few of them.

I will say the rifle shot very well and didn't seem very picky with ammo....even when changing brands. I don't think I'm going to have a problem with cold bore shifts....I spent 10 to 15 minutes waiting on wind conditions for some of the smallest groups. Even stopped to eat a biscuit and then finished 3 shots on one of them...went right into the group.

I have a couple 10 shots groups that are way smaller than a dime. (y)

I'll post up some measurements when I get them.

Thank you Sir!!

I really like holding my rifle when I shoot...guess you could say I put a lot of influence on it.

Firm shoulder, check on stock, my right hand grip is lighter than it used to be and with the angled bag rider I slide my rear bag with my left hand to adjust for elevation.

I shoot bulls top to bottom cause it's easier for me to slide the rear bag rearward than forward. When I get to the bottom, I push the rear bag forward and start down the next row of bulls.

Wow, Congrats !Very nice choice on that barreled action. It's beautiful. I didn't know they would make one that long. If/when I'm ready for a bench rest rifle of my own. This could be a contender.
BTW, VGW told me that you really can't expect the best groups out of their rifles until you get north of 1000 rounds down the pipe. This can only get better.

I had several discussions with Ms. Jill about barrel length. Knowing I wanted a barrel as long as possible, I asked for he help on this so long as it didn't interfere with the slugging process. She kinda laughed and said not to worry, slugging comes first for this build and they weren't going to deviate from the proper process. She was a pleasure to deal with and I left it in her hands on the final outcome.

If it keeps getting better, I'm not gonna know how to act!!

Thanks!!

Nice setup BC. I’m trying to figure just how much the tuner can add . Btw, I think your calipers might be off. Those groups look to be in the 0.2s to me center to center . Or maybe I’ve been cheating on mine . If I ever got a Vudoo , it would have the same barreled action , but with a BR stock . I too like to feel the rifle when I shoot , so maybe the chassis setup makes sense too!
nice choice . Congrats

I probably erred a little on the big side...didn't want to make it look better than it is. I will say I'm very very pleased!!

The chassis was an easy decision because of the adjustability..........because I like to hold. The plus is I can drop this barreled action in a BR stock if I want as well.

With good equipment...a tuner works. I've been trying them out on a couple CZ 457 Lilja builds....very nice!! (y)

Thanks!!
