B14R's ARE fun to shoot. My first precision rifle was a B14R Carbon. Foolishly sold it when I got my first Vudoo. It's been a couple of years now and I still have my Vudoo but I missed a B14R enough that I just finished putting another one together. Lets face it. When you win with a Vudoo, it's expected. When you win with a Bergara or CZ, you get that underdog rush that just sweetens the momentI will still keep the Bergara’s, they are just to much fun not to. And they have treated me well in the factory oriented matches.
I may not shoot any better with a custom rifle but haven’t done very well against Vudoo’s, Stillers and other premium built rifles. Again it could be mostly skill level of the competitors.
Maybe I’m trying to do to much variety with my .22 rifles. It’s a lot of ground to cover and competition rifles can be very task specific.
I’m reading this as why not use a Stiller or PQP, 2 or 3 lug rifle. Am I correct?Curious why you would use a 2500X or Trident for your build?
And, hopefully, I will get to see it again next Saturday.Update.
I have had the LH Vudoo 360 since August, 2024. I have shot it extensively, and have done pretty good in several various Rimfire disciplines. Mainly bench or prone stuff but did shoot 2 NRL22 matches with it.
I think/assume that this way the ejector had more time to bump out the empty. Cant remember. What's the point of that?
Yes. RBLP single shot. My repeater has the same mod, but it is black the notch does not photograph well.Is that a 360
Is that a 360 bolt?
Thanks Hoser.
No idea why it would need it as the Gen 1 and 2 come back the same amount. Why that would need a mod like that makes no sense to me.I think/assume that this way the ejector had more time to bump out the empty. Cant remember.
