Mine is the original PWS Summit with their carbon fiber barrel. I got it to be a good suppressor host that used magazines and accessories that I already had. Now my wife has commandeered it, threw it in a KRG Bravo stock, and plans to shoot NRL22 with it.
Can it be swapped back and forth with a regular bolt? Or is it a one or the other thing? How about triggers, same as the 10/22. I've seen these a bunch and have the volquartzen book on my desk, but I don't see much info about them.
Dedicated bolt.
You can swap triggers, but both the VQ and original PWS trigger assemblies are great. Arguably, only Kidd is better and if so, only marginally.
I use mine as a great suppressor host for varmints and teaching kids to shoot. With it, I don’t have to constantly load one round at a time, which I always do with kids and semis. I love shooting it… just want to slick up the action like an Annie...
