Value of vintage USA-made Weaver K1.5-1?

I picked up an old Ithaca Featherlight and it had this Weaver mounted (1.5x optic on a bird gun? Don't ask me....makes no sense).

Any idea of its value? Its made in the USA vs. later models made in Japan.

I've seen a fair number of those older El Paso Weavers (and have owned a few), but that's a magnification I don't see often.
If that is a duplex-style reticle it's a definite plus, many of them are fine-CH style which are less desirable IMO.

The values of these have went up a fair bit over the last few years I think. Very much above-average condition on yours too. :bthumb:

there is a good following of weaver tx steel scopes. great quality for their age, and paid service is available.

the scope looks to be in good condition. i would think it would go a couple of places.
turkey shotgun
big game rifle
brush gun

do some searching on past sales, for a value, or just drop it in an auction forum and wait and see.

Nice scope IMHO...I have one with original rings and covers...this model is marked "Micro-Trak"
on the left side of elevation block and is USA made. I had mine appraised at Between $75 -$150. My scope has the duplex cross hairs and condition is about 99%. Paint is a little thin on serrations of adjustment covers.
Hope that helps...Pic of mine(took off rings to put on .22rings later)

Personally, I think they're ideal for using as period correct scopes on older rifles. Infact, the 3 old Weaver scopes I have (K3, K4, B4) all came on rifles that were manufactured in the '50's. I did a little research and all 3 scopes date back to the '50's as well. Since the scope mounts all seem period correct I assume the scope were mounted on the rifles soon after they were originally purchased.
