USMC 40X - Still Has Some Life.............

Shot my USMC 40X yesterday. Of course from the bench at 50 yards, The scope is a Lyman SuperTargetSpot 25X. For ammo, I was using SK Rifle Match. Fired a grand total of 20 shots. Five into targets of opportunity on the berm to warm up the barrel. Then three of these 10 Meter Air Rifle Targets. This was the best as the other two had a flier. So I guess there is some life left in the old girl yet.

Dear usmc69 , that's a certified walnut cracker, or buster. I use to do that some time back , make easy on the
Squirrels , not SquirrelhunterLR. I was told that a Squirrel, gray squirrel, could tell if a walnut was good or bad ,
before trying to get into the walnut. That's sorta reminds us looking for gold in all the wrong places. Good luck on your shooting. Maybe needed to get the barrel warmed up , usmc69 Great shooting. Buck

I was six and about ready to have my first open heart surgery when this 40X was made.

Buck, I don't hunt animals anymore. I was in an Anti-Terrorist unit in the Corps, since then never wanted to hunt animals. Still try to keep my skill levels up. Thank you.

I know what you mean. I got mine fixed awhile back and along came covid. Haven't shot rimfire since. Went to the trap range and now can't even do that.

I have shot all the way through covid and such. Just don't see the irons as well as I use to. Also tired of shooting the Matches. Not a lot of fun when you are shooting them by yourself. Just shoot now to please myself. two days of rifle and one of handgun most every week. Take care old Friend!!
