UNIQUE F-11 FAMAS .22 LR copy

I have a Unique F-11, .22 LR copy of a FAMAS. It is NOT the Jager made copy but the all black one that looks just like a FAMAS. I am going to sell this rifle but can find no sales on the auction sites to get any recent prices realized. I have read that only 1,000 of this FAMAS copy were made.
Does anyone have an idea of the price range of this rifle? Are extra magazines available for it anywhere?
Anything I can learn about this rifle will be appreciated.

I did a little search on the Unique FAMAS 22 LR and it appears it was manufactured in France and is described as a 22 training rifle. Curious if this rifle was actually used by the French government. The magazine appears to fit inside a fake magazine in a similar fashion as to the Armi Jager. I don't know if a magazine from another rimfire rifle/pistol could be modified to work but the videos I watched indicated they were 10 round mags.

I have no idea about value but if the rifle fires and functions I figure $400-$500 because it is unique, no pun intended. There are a couple youtube videos on the F11.

Yes, the original factory magazine for the rifle is a 10 round magazine. It fits inside the actual size factory 223 magazine which is just a hollowed out body.
I do not believe this rifle was ever used as a military training rifle. It has no proof marks on it to indicate military acceptance. Rather, it is just a curious .22 LR copy of a very esoteric battle rifle.

I don't know how much help this will be, but that rifle is basically the Unique X-51 semi-auto .22 rifle housed in a bull-pup-style plastic housing resembling a FAMAS. Think of it as a detachable magazine-equipped Winchester 63 crammed into a shell to make it look like a para-military rifle. As such, the X-51 inside is a very well made, all-milled steel rifle that Unique shoe-horned into something it thought would sell more rifles, almost as a last gasp of life for the company. So, the good news is it is a very nice X-51. The bad news is magazines for the X-51s are about as rare as any I can think of, especially the 10-rounders.

FWIW, I have found that the X-51s were essentially hand-made rifles with very few interchangeable parts, due to hand-fitting. Hence, spare parts are not only rare, they will not fit . There has also been some discussion here about how Unique changed the width of the X-51 magazine well very shortly before the company went out of business, so there may be be two styles of magazine wells requiring two different magazines...as if the magazines were not already hard enough to find.

So, you will have what I call a "magazine orphan" and a "spare parts orphan" with that rifle. Now, the rifles are exceedingly well made and seldom have parts failure, so only you can decide whether or not it is worth it to you.

Good luck,
TBR

Thank you very much Teddy Bear Rat. That explanation helps me in my search for extra magazines. The Unique F-11 has been a safe queen for over 25 years. I just recently got it out of a gun safe and became curious about it.
Now I just have to decide on a fair price for what appears to be a some what rare rifle.
