Titan stock for hunting?

Anyone use a Titan stock on their squirrel gun? I'm gonna try one and see how it works out. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

Honestly, I don't see why not...but...
I don't hunt with mine, but its light, good ergos, and has plenty of sling attachment options.
Things to note though...the hook and straight hand grip may get caught on things, as "normal" hunting rifle stocks don't usually have hard corners there. The barrel channel is made for a bull, so if you are using a tapered barrel, it may look "odd". Also, plan to buy the cheek rest also, or make your own, as the stock rides low.
I mainly BR, and its absolutely perfect. The anchor system is excellent, and the fit and finish were top notch.
Good luck with your decision!

The Titan is advertised as 2 lbs. 12 oz., Magpul Hunter at 2.45 lbs, Hogue 2 lbs. 3 oz. and Ruger DSP walnut 2.45 lbs, depending on who you ask. The Titan is heavier I agree but it doesn't look like an unmanageable weight difference. It might be, I don't know. Looks like I'm going to find out. I know that somebody out there uses one to hunt with and I'm not the first to consider it. After all, my main deer rifle is over 8 lbs and not that bad. Wish me luck, please!

Well the titan finally came in. I put a total kidd in it with my original 16.5" stainless fluted barrel. I also used the rear tang compatible with kidd. I will have to say that it is as advertised. And yes it is heavier but it will be fine for hunting. It seems to shoot great, 1/2" or better at 50 with cci sv. I didn't shoot much as it was too hot outside. I will say this, it seems that there is no need for all of the tape bedding or any of that. Seems to be solid as a rock. I will shoot plenty more and do another post. I hope that it is as it seems.
