Just acquired this rifle . Has a stainless bull barrel. I have many centerfire rifles I have floated the barrel. Do I need to float the barrel on a rim fire. I have also become aware of how much you torque the action screw can affect how well it groups. TIA

These rimfires are finicky. You have to play with each one to find optimum action screw torque. Some like to be free floated and some like a bedding pad 2" from the stock tip. All like the action bedded.
