Howdy OldDave and Gerald!

It is supposed to warm up here a bit today too. Not Texas warm, but at least not freezing! :bthumb:

I need to adjust a few clocks this morning. I fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up at 12:30, got up and went straight to bed. I wasn't about to start changing clocks.

Mornin',

In on 1!

Windy and cold. An inch of rain and an inch of snow (that stuck to the grass). Maybe to 40 degrees today.

Didn't do much of anything yesterday. More of that today.

Have a great day.

Reset those that don't reset themselves before going to bed last night.:bthumb:

Thanks for the suggestions on SGAmmo mdew and Wookness, they're one of the first places I always check on ammo...have a case coming from jj armory due the 17th, came in at $160 Tax and shipping...ouch but hey it's a start. Looks like I cleaned them out, showing no inventory now.

Problem solved - range time today will involve a Sig P210, and a GP100 with some 32 H&R boolits.

Moar laterer.
Well, range time went just fine. The GP100 did exactly as it always does with 32 H&R ammo - which is to say FAR better than a GP100 has any right to do. :D

The P210 was doing well enough - or should I say "I was doing well enough with the 210" - that it was worth trying at 25 yards. This is my "So you think you can shoot!" test. 7 yards is fine to check, but 25 gets interestinger.

If I can get 10/10 on paper on a 10.5" square repair center, then I'm happy. Barring one flier, which was me being over-eager but is still on paper, they all contacted the black so I'm very happy. All cleaned up at put away till next time.

Onwards!

That's some very nice shooting at 25 yards, Sails! :) :bthumb:

Good pistol popping reports, TD & Don. Happy to learn that the match was well attended and the personal finishes were above last. I've never done a battle roll but have had some times playing the role of the caboose. Someone has to doit/get the honors... whatever ;) And anyway, I'd say if'n youse guys were hitting some way out there's w/rifles the other day it prolly wasn't realistic to think every pistol shot was gonna B an Erskine, of the TV sort. That you got to go and shoot together in the same match and had fun doing it; that's whot's important. Plenty cool, that! :bthumb:

I'm plumb wore out, so gonna cash it in, for the time being anyway.

Changed all the clocks and watches except for the G-Shocks, as they are a PITA. Cold out. Still need to dust and vacuum. Then spin to work off the monkfish from last nights dinner. I’m a sucker for monkfish, poor man’s lobster. Only with the price of everything, nothing is for a poor man. I’m sure I’ll spend a few benji spots at the liquor store this afternoon. I don’t know how a family of 4 or 5 is doing it these days, especially if you have two working people commuting to work. Or should I say, you need 2 people commuting to work.

Good morning all. Beautiful day here in Yuma, temps to be in the 70's with very little wind, just right. :)

Arizona does not do Daylight Saving Time so didn't have to put up with that nonsense. :bthumb:

Deleted a thread I started earlier this morning due to nastiness. First time this has ever happened to me here on this board.

Looking forward to another week here with all you fine folks. :bthumb:

Electrostatic filter in the old furnace here got sick of changing filters monthly. Run a big electrostatic upstairs in living area as well. Better circulation of heat and air.

Dentist made a house call this morning three planes left with him. Of course he wanted the minty ones that I had duplicates of. Little surface rust from hanging in the garage but tried to put the wire wheel on basement grinder and wheel remained stationary missing a washer. Oh well, he will enjoy them now. I get more satisfaction from pulling the trigger on a power tool or flipping a switch on a stationary tool these days.
