whats the action look like on those ? it does not appear to resemble the 1022 action
does a bayonet actually fit to that or are those parts cosmetic plastic ?

action is more like a real M1 carbine, bayonet lug is fake, plastic, but a real one can be added. a lot of GI parts fit including the stock. my action from my plastic stock M-1 dropped right into a GI stock with handguard. these are sweet little clone .22s, I love mine. early production was terrible but chiappa got the problems worked out. the secret to buying one is LOOK AT THE CHAMBER MOUTH. if it has a cut out in the rim at 6:00 STAY AWAY from it, run and do not look back!! the early ones would blow case rims often, I even saw one that blew the magazine out of the rifle and blew it apart. new ones are great, no cut out in the case mouth. legacy sports dropped importing these for some reason, I do not know who handles them now.

NEW?? if yes GREAT price with wood stock. I bought mine new about 3 years ago, best price was $270. with plastic stock. later I found a new inland repro walnut stock / hand guard at a gun show for $70.00. action dropped right in.mine has run 100% since I took it out of the box!! accurate too. plastic parts such as magazines, rear sight ,front sight and bayonet lug, but it doesn't bother ME at all. you CANNOT mount a bayonet, lug is for looks ONLY and is too small.
