A couple months back I purchased one of the new Ruger BX-15 magnum Magazines for my old Ruger 10/22 Mag. This past weekend I finally got out to do some plinking and testing of the New Magazine. I am Very Happy to report that at least on my gun, the BX-15 worked flawlessly. No jams, No mis-feeds. The fit and 'click' when inserting the mag into the gun is very positive and there is 'no' movement at all. I have an older Voltquartsen '25'.....that works well....but I believe the Ruger is better considering everything. I'm happy...and hope others that buy this Magazine will have the same results. I also upgraded the Grip on my Mark II with some Walnut.

SHOOT SAFE....AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!:t

Ill be testing BX-15 magnum in my 77/22 this weekend.

Don't really need the capacity on a bolt gun but its nice to be able to grab the mag when removing vs having to catch it when it drops.

Had to trim a bit of material to get a fit but it locks solid now - my rifle is late 90s vintage.

Have a 77/22 LR also and the BX mags are a nice bonus although bought for my 10/22s.

10-22 Magazine

Thanks for the positive review. I have (2) Shooters Ridge magazines that are unreliable. There were no other hi cap magazines to find. until Savage came with the A17. I'm gonna order some because no matter how I tried to adjust by trying to copy exactly with the plastic mags, ect, and graphite; just 2 out of 20 doesn't work!

Beauty of the rotary 9-10 rounders is compact size.

Biggest advantage of the 15 rd isn't the extra rounds IMHO but the fact that you can grasp the mag for easier load / reload. I certainly don't need 15 in my bolt gun but its nice to have.

BX-25 for LR is a meaningful capacity bump, the 15 is a nice option plus in a pinch you can use it as an off hand support / monopod off the bench etc.

B15 Mag

Im gonna get another B15, Only $19 here in South Dakota for now. The 15 round mag looks cool on my ruger96 lever action, loads even (3) row 5 round cartridges, feeds fast and super smooth through the Magnum Research too, and eats EVERY type bullet and weight grain velocity ammo.
The MR Carbon barrel pulls tighter through my boresnake and is slightly more accurate than the 96.
