What luck have any of you had with an aftermarket stock or chassis? Just curious if any accuracy gains can be made by using one.

I had mine in a KRG Bravo for awhile. It's nice but for me the T1x barreled-action seems better suited for the OEM stock or maybe another sporter style stock. It didn't shoot any better in the Bravo stock for me. So I prefer it in the stock that's easier to handle

Ergonomics is what it’s all about with a stock/chassis. If it feels comfortable to the shooter they’ll naturally shoot it better. That being said having one that has several adjustments, such as LOP and an adjustable cheek riser can make a world of difference. Not everyone is out to shoot tiny groups and there are always trade-offs such as weight (typically) with more adjustable platforms.

I’ve had excellent results with both the KRG Bravo chassis and MDT’s XRS, they’re very comfortable for me, once I have them dialed in for my body and shooting style, in comparison to the factory stock, so I shoot well from behind them.

Hope this helps. Feel free to DM

I just went with o.e.m. stock. I liked it but too short l.o.p. Added bottom metal, vertical grip, flat fore end, bolt knob, t3 buttpad with 2 t3 spacers. Let's see, rail, victor cheek riser with two spacers. DIP compensator. Most of the trinkets either DIP,or beretta. Shooting it suppressed currently. 17hmr. All weather groundhog getter.

I have added all of these upgrades to mine too but went with the ARCA Lite rail instead of wide forearm. I made my own cheek riser and filled the forearm With epoxy and steel shot and buttstock with lead. I used the Limbsaver air soft butt pad. I’m actually very happy with it but was wondering if any accuracy gains could be achieved with a different stock or chassis. Mine is 22lr and it’s strictly used for benchrest target shooting. It’s already way more accurate than my son’s CZ 457 MTR. I guess I should invest the money in a better rest and good ammo.
