My brother just gave me a .22 Stoeger Luger that shoots well but desperately needs a replacement magazine. Anyone have any ideas about where is the best place to hopefully find one? Thanks

No, mine has a white follower. Hoosier gun works shows a couple but they are listed as "Stoeger/Navy Arms 22 LR Luger". Looks like my magazine, but any idea as to whether it's different than other Stoeger Luger 22s?i think original mags bring a hefty price, but i`v heard they are the most reliable. i saw some on gunbroker awhile back in the 60$ price range. you might try hoosier gun works s he has quite a few hard to find items. does your mag have a green follower?

Well, I spoke with Ed just now on the phone, so I think I'll go with him... seemed like a nice guy, thanks:bthumb:I buy what ever I need from GC Gun Clips. He has the largest supply of hard to find mags & clips that I have ever seen and his prices are reasonable and shipping is cheap enough. His contact information is

Ed is set up every weekend at gun shows, when you call if he doesn't answer leave a message with what you need and he will get right back to you. He'sa stand up guy with excellent service.
For what it's worth, I have a NIB Stoeger Luger from January 1979 and I think it is 2nd generation as the box shows checkered grips and mine has smooth walnut grips. Anyway the magazine has a black plastic bottom with a white plastic follower.
