But youve had your eyes done. Thats how you can see that fine reticle on the Mueller.

Great shooting, I have the same Savage MKII and it shoots as good as yours I put it up against my CZ 457 MTR every day and it keeps right up with it.Guys always wood turn there heads and laugh at the range about my Savages 6.5cm until they out shot there $5000 AI and custom Remingtons.Id put my SAVAGE 6.5”s and MKII up against any other gun and feel confident it would keep up.Great shooting keep it up.

i have a savage mkii tr that has a rifle basix trigger that shoots about the same with sk match ammo. congrats on the 2500!

 

what ammo were you shooting

 

Lapua Center-X 29559/706524 which mine likes.
I tested some slower Center-X but the group got bigger so am staying with faster subsonic for the Savage.
Suspect (assuming lots are consistance) the harmonics of my rifle are such that faster speed is better. YMMV
OTOH, I have not tried a significantly lower speed to see the effects on the harmonics.

What scope is it?

 

A Mueller target scope. The cross hairs are very thin so your eyesight may or may not like it. But the price is right.
