Is anyone planning on picking one of these up? I am told they are shipping out sometime in the next two months. I’m curious what others think regarding the stability of that stock supporting a bull barrel vs a regular barrel. Thoughts?

seriously doubt that either the stock, or the receiver, will have any issue at all with using a bull barrel, after all forward of the pistol grip it's the same as any other wood stock (with the exception being the screw that goes between the take down screw and magwell, that the folder uses to lock closed on)...I think the issue will be how extremely muzzle heavy it will feel if you actually put one of the steel barrels in it

this stock may be the perfect candidate for using one of the light or ultra light bull barrels from Volquartsen, KIDD, or Summit

I'm wondering if Samson will make bull barrel diameter handguards, and barrel bands..

All great points. Yeah my concern was the weight of a bull Barrel drooping down. I was looking at the Kidd barrels, and to be honest, the ultra lights aren’t much more expensive. I’m gonna send Sampson an email and see if they plan on releasing any of these other accessories in the bull barrel sizing.

I think you'll find that KIDD's Ultra Lightweight is less costly than both their lightweight bulls, and their regular steel bull barrels..I think they may even be the least expensive of the (quality) lightweight bull barrels on the market

the balance of my Samson, with a now discontinued, Volquartsen 16.5" Muzzle Heavy barrel is pretty good...but using a KIDD Ultra Lightweight might make an even better balanced rifle

Update from Samson:

"None of the B-TM accessories will work with the B-TM bull barrel stocks. We’re planning on releasing a top picatinny rail that mounts to the 4 holes in the receiver, so a magnified rifle scope can be installed. I don’t have an ETA for that yet, though."

Seems like they don't have any current plans at the moment to produce the B-TM accessories compatible with the bull barrel stock. Kind of a bummer. Basically I have to decide if I want a bull barrel or keep my OEM barrel with the other more aesthetic B-TM accessories. It's a tough choice to be honest haha.
