looks vary nice condition I have an old standard model ive had for over 40 years

 

Ive got a mk2 ive had for close to that. Ive got 20 or so rugers from standard to mk4. I shoot my mk4 with suppressor the most. Its a blast to shoot and a breeze to clean. I haven’t shoot the mk1 with brake yet.

That's a first for me, I've never seen one with a factory brake.

 

And now I know such a unicorn exists. 👍

 

A first for me, I’d have bet good money that ruger never made a mark I with a factory muzzle brake.

 

ive done gun shows for 40 plus years. They use to be around. This one is the first ive seen in 35 years or so

 

The brakes were an add-on option when ordering a pistol from the factory. I believe wood target grips were also an option.

Not yet butthis spring when it warms up i plan on shooting it and the smith and wesson model 46
