Ruger Mark IV optics

Hello all. I did purchase a Ruger Mark IV Target, 5.5 inch barrel. I like it a lot. The iron sights that come on it are ok. I may think about replacing them. I also mounted a Vortex, traditional style red-dot on it. I do not care for this set up. I believe I will try a small prism type sight next. I am looking at the Vortex. Anyone have any insight or opinions. Going to use the pistol for target use, plinking, and small game hunting. Please assist with options for good reflex style optics. Thanks in advance.

My brother put a Holosun 508T-GR2 on his using a Lobos low profile mount, he really likes it.

Here's that same setup on a Target—Holosun 507C green dot with a Lobos mount plate. I think it's a fantastic setup.

i put the Lobos mount , and Holosun 507 on my MK IV. It worked well for me.

I put a Burris 2x long eye relief scope on my mk iv. Rabbit’s don’t stand a chance.

I have Burris Fast fire III on mine in a dove tail mount and I removed the front sight. I have used this setup for years and am very happy with it. It is the closest to the bore option to be had.

Might try a red dot like the Ultradot II, it is not a carry optic, but has a variety of reticles and brightness settings to choose from.
