I wanted to upgrade Riton MPRD 2 red dot that came on my Ruger Mark IV 22/45 lite 43948. I removed removed the Riton and tried to install the Holosun 507k but it was not compatible with the pre-installed plate. Both Riton and Holosun states that their red dot are RMSc compatible. I removed the plate thinking they might be a dovetail underneath but unfortunately there was not. Can someone please help me find a plate that is compatible with this model Mark IV

The issue is that Holosun does not have cups for recoil lugs on the back of their optic. Due to this they are incompatible with most RMSc/Shield footprints that are manufactured. One option is to file down the rear lug. We also sell a replacement mount that is specifically for the 407/507K here.
I found the Riton sight to be OK, yet the dot brightness has no manual control, and at times too bright.
I prefer a Burris Fast Fire III, so I purchased the corresponding Armadyne Mount. Fits perfectly, very nice mount.
