Ruger 22/45 LITE with Suppressor?

I've been snooping around different forums trying to decide if a 22/45 LITE is truly safe for use with suppressors? It's funny how Ruger even lists in separately from the "Threaded Barrel" models. I notice the length of the threaded portion is shorter on the Lite also.

Thoughts?

Look what I found on the Ruger site by clicking on the detailed muzzle cap removal instructions......

Your Ruger 22/45 LITE comes equipped with a threaded barrel and is protected by a removable muzzle cap. The cap protects the 1/2-28 threads at the end of the barrel which is designed to accommodate a .22 Long Rifle sound suppressor. To remove the muzzle cap, point the pistol in a safe direction, remove the magazine, and keep your finger off the trigger. Retract the bolt to the rear, and lock it to the rear by pushing up on the bolt lock. Verify that the chamber is empty. Depress the bolt lock to close the bolt. Keep your fingers out of the receiver! Hold the upper receiver/barrel section of the pistol firmly in your left hand, and turn the muzzle cap counter-clockwise, until removed from the threaded portion of the barrel. (See Figure 1a.) Gripping the muzzle cap by the knurled section will aid in twisiting the cap free. Remove the cap and the wave washer under the cap (See Figure 1b.) and store them in a safe place for reinstallation when the suppressor is removed.

All that to say "unscrew"......?

I've put over 1000 rounds through a Silencerco Sparrow/Lite combo. Almost everything stays subsonic - I shoot a lot of Minimags with no problems. I do get a little "first round pop" with the Lite/Sparrow combo. Not so much with my rifles.

I can eliminate the the first round pop by shooting a CCI quiet as the first round but the quiet isn't powerful enough to cycle the bolt.
