There are 5 parts you can replace.

1. The trigger itself, with one that has pretravel and overtravel adjustments. All I have experience with is Volquartsen. They work. There are other options.

2. Sear. This reduces the pull weight. Volquartsen.

3. Hammer. Reduces lock time. Volquartsen.

4. Disconnector - Not really necessary IMO but Volquartsen makes this.

5. Hammer bushing. This does away with the magazine disconnector and also improves the trigger pull at the same time. Several companies make these.

I would just replace the trigger, sear and hammer bushing if I were you.

If you replace the hammer and bushing, I suggest a MkII style hammer and bushing. If using the stock MkIII hammer, either the MkII or MkIII (stepped) bushing will work fine.

Volquartsen has Mark III triggers and hammers on clearance.

You will get the most bang for your buck out of the target sear. I have a factory hammer and trigger in my Mark III 22/45 and only replaced the sear. it went from a ~6 pound average pull to 2.5 lbs. It really cleaned up the pull and enhanced the break feel. I am about to install a target sear on my other 22/45 which has a heavy, gritty trigger pull with terrible stacking right before the break. I suspect that the improvement on the second one will be just as good as the first one, if not better.
