Remington 40X .22 lr in a MDT XRS SA Chassis?

Hi. I have a CMP Remington 40X .22 LR and would like to swap the wood stock with an MDT XRS SA Chassis. Anyone have experience with this combination? Since the 40x is a single shot action, I’m wondering what will become of the magwell in the chassis and will it fit? Thanks.

I did not use the original action screws. I used stainless steel Allen head screws to better match the screws used on the WOOX chassis. I believe the front action screw would have been too short anyway.

What did you use to cover the magazine well? Where can I purchase that cover? Did not see it on the WOOX sight. Thanks.
