I put my 40X into a WOOX Furiosa Chassis for a Rem. 700 short action. It was a perfect fit. I just bought a nice floor plate/trigger guard and installed it without the cartridge box/spring. Works great.

 

What a beautiful set up. Did you use the original action screws? Please post a photo of the magazine cover plate over the magazine well.

 

I did not use the original action screws. I used stainless steel Allen head screws to better match the screws used on the WOOX chassis. I believe the front action screw would have been too short anyway.

What did you use to cover the magazine well? Where can I purchase that cover? Did not see it on the WOOX sight. Thanks.

 

That is clean Set up, looks custom. I particularly like the way the magazine plate fits the well. ’ll take a look at the link, unfortunately I already have some spare MDT XRS weights from an CZ457 build and want to put them to use.

 

The WOOX chassis also came with weights. I took them out though, because the 24" Shillen #1 taper barrel is plenty of weight at the front of the gun. The MDT chassis should be a fine chassis. I am thinking about getting one for my '68 vintage Rem. 700 .243.
