I have a question...

I have a new M&P 15-22 Sport with the MBUS folding sights.

If I were to put a Bushnell TRS-25 Trophy on it will I need a riser with the sights folded down?
Or put another way will the folded down MBUS sights show in the TRS-25 without a riser?

I couldn't find any dimensions on Google for the TRS-25.

Thanks,

MTee

Ok. Amazon is showing a UTG Med-pro compact riser mount, .83" high with 3 slots along with a 1" mount on the same page as the RDS.

Should I look for a 1/2" riser as you suggested instead?

Thanks for your reply,

EDIT: I located a UTG 0.5" Picatinny Riser Mount, 3 slot on amazon and ordered it.
Thanks again for your help!

Before I order the riser I read on a review page that the RDS doesn't come with a riser and will need to order one.

Thanks for the offer! I have ordered a 0.50" on Amazon.

If you're like me you'll never find that riser until one day when you're not looking for it then you find it! :D

How bright is the dot in that sight? I have one of the ARO reflex sights on a pistol and it is barely usable in our bright sunlight. I ask because I have the 15-22 pistol and that would make a nice sight for it. Right now I am using a BSA 30 mm red dot on a riser that works well but it is big and bulky.
