Anybody used them before? If so, what is your opinion. Also, does anybody know if the tool is still available for purchase? I sent an email from the address given on his website, but never heard anything back.

I have no idea if he is still selling them, but i have the neal waltz resizer die and i love it.

Last time i check the email to contact him at to buy them was: waltz@sssnet.com

Keep in mind these things were originally made because of the Ruger single six. Since the Single six is convertible from 22mag to 22lr it has a .224 bore instead of the .221. So these dies were made to be able to compress the bullet of the 22lr to but it up to be able to fit better in the .224 bore so it will have better accuracy.

The ability to make an awesome hollow point is second, but in my Marlin it has no negative affect on the accuracy, and with weight and rim thickness sorting along with the resizing i can make so pretty cheap accuracy hunting ammo with cheap bulk-pack ammo.

Copy

Sadly, Paco is no longer with us. Hopefully someone will step up and make a copy in his honor.
If you have some documentation he is no longer with us I would like to see it as I have known him for a long time.

If he is no longer with us then I will have to decide what to do with this sticky.

As far as making a copy of the AcuRzr® .....lots of luck ...... it is patented, so if he is gone then some family member might have gotten it via his will or whatever.

Paco Kelly ACU'RZR®

Last I heard and that was not too long ago was that Paco was not dead.

I have known him for a number of years.

He has been banged up for a fair amount of years because of a gunfight back when he was a LEO.

He is a crotchety son of a you know what, half deaf and his computer skills rank right there with a 3 year old and I would not hold your breath waiting for him to reply to an email.

He has multiple email addresses such as:

paco@gunblast.com

www.pacotools.com

pk454@comcast.net

Might be better off sending him a letter etc. at:

http://www.leverguns.com/store/acurzrorder.html

You might be able to get a fax number by researching that address?

Derek Thornton though who was "DRock" has passed away, awhile back though. Might be thinking of him.
