This afternoon I shot a 50yd target outdoors at our local rifle range. The MTR I picked up in January has had all 2650 rounds of its life shot indoors. The range faces North & there was a 13-17 mph NW wind. SK Rifle Match is my preferred load. Here are the five 5 shot groups. .336 to 1.025 inch groups. I tip my hat to the outdoor ARA shooters for fighting the wind.

We had our first benchrest silhouette match here in north central Pa on saturday. Lots of shooters kicking themselves. Even most of the really good shooters were down several targets. My grandson in particular was crushed. This is only his 2nd year shooting anything. I told him the only way to learn to shoot in the wind is to shoot in the wind.
