Ok I'll bite... Just a few of the many lovable feline companions my wife, daughter and I have had over the years.

Lulu, Queen of all She surveys

Image

Albert, who will be 17 in July. He's the top dog, just ask him.

Image

Diesel and Petrol, two outside strays adopted by my daughter who lives next door. Most of their time is spent chilling in our garage. This was taken last summer and they've filled out quite a bit since then. Two uber-neat little streetwise, affectionate toms.

Image

Mono, the mom of the boys above. Dunno how she injured her eye (raccoon?) but it had to go, so she's now indoors with my daughter. Very sweet little girl.

This is the appropriately named Charmin, who was squeezably soft. She was a Manx diva but a sweetheart a well. This was a decade ago.

Nizhoni, (Navaho for 'ugly kitten') and her sister Willow. Nizhoni is the Torti one.
They're rescues from a feral community behind the shop I work at.

This is Scout. Scout has had a long hard life. He enjoys sleeping in his bed, and trying to ignore the two girls above.

We don't let any of them have coffee.

I never drink that nasty stuff! Tears my stomach up.

I did just have a large mug of Sunday morning tea and honey. I don't drink as much any more but for many years of my life I never missed a good sized mug of tea every morning. Mostly black tea but I also like green tea. When I can find it my favorite is Orange Pekoe. In this case "orange" is not a color...it is a grade of tea.
A high grade of black tea.

Here is another tea fact for you. All teas start out as green tea. Black tea is then fermented to smooth out the flavor.

There was one tradition my ex and I had. When we would go on our camping trips (usually 8-9 days) we would always take some decaf coffee and a large bottle Baily's Irish Creme. She liked some coffee with her Irish Creme! We even made Irish Creme a couple times. I liked Baily's better but our's was good too. Fun stuff. We took decaf because we drank it at night around the camp fire. It was fun sitting there watching the kangaroo rats sharing the fire with us. on several trips I would have one sit right between my feet and watch the fire. They are such cute little critters. Not at all what you think of when you hear "rat".
