The scope is just an old Weaver 2.5 - 7 Variable and cheap wally world rings. Just a temporary set up but I grouped about 1/2 in. (not measured) at 50 yds. using this set up so it may stay there for a while, who knows?

Yes, the Weaver does have the fine cross hairs. Actually I have 2 of these little scopes and I really do like them. This one has a slight chip in the ocular lens but it really doesn't hurt a thing since it is way to the outside. Someday I hope to run across another that I can just rob the eyepiece off from and fix mine. I would like to have a little more power for target shooting but in the mean time this will work fine.
These are very nice rifles as well as the other 452s IMO. I have 4 Americans, 2 FS and a Lux in various calibers so I really "needed" this to round out my collection!
