New T1X not in stores?

I'm ready to make a purchase of a new T1X and have checked all the shops within about a two hour radius. None in stock. They can be ordered no problem. I guess I'll just order one in but I wanted to handle one first. After reading about them and reviews and watching videos they seem to be very nice for the price point. Just wondering why you [ at least I ] never see them on the rack at local shops?

Don’t know. It’s been years ago, but I bought both of mine at a LGS. I don’t see them on the rack anymore either.

The only rimfire rifles I saw in stores locally are Ruger 10/22s (in the basic/cheapest version). Everything else is through online purchase only it seems, at least here in NJ...

Didn't find any local but ordered one yesterday. 16 inch synthetic stock. Looking forward to getting it. Already looking at some upgrades.

I stopped at the shop today and there was a variety of at least least six rimfires.

One of my shops in town has 3 Tikka NIB. One 16" and one 20" both MTR and a leftie 20"MTR. The other shop has none. And the one shop always seems to replace whatever they sell. Good selection of CZ and Bergara too.

I ordered mine end of 2023 when they came back in stock at online shops…nobody had them locally that I could tell.
