New SC build

Going to shoot both Rimfire Rifle division. Started in open built one ruger 10-22 with some ruger parts left (the receiver, v block and screws) Took the optics off added Wiland Iron sights now have to figure out how to adjust for windage. Elevation is move the ring up or down the front can move up and down also. The new open rifle has no Ruger parts.

I see a couple of options... cant the front sight if you don't need a lot of adjustment.....cut a shim from brass shim stock or aluminum soda can to fit the V of the 1913 rail... mill the rear sight slot wider, so that the sight insert can move slightly more laterally, and the same for the slot in the sight slider the set screw locks in... I'd quickly reach a my frustration level of not having repeatable precise clicks, I think I'd cut my losses and get an Ozark Armament adjustable rear sight (that Striplin uses) good luck with your choice

For my RFRO I use the Ruger 15 round mags. Have functioned perfectly for me over a number of matches and different rifles. Easy to manipulate in/out of the rifle and pick up off the table during the stage. Ten round versions were difficult to manage and not as reliable, regardless of the guts/cleaning in/of the magazine.
