Hello all,after many years of not using my firearms,I have re-aquired the desire. During the pandemic I got interested in genealogy and started searching out old family graves to visit and maintain. Two of our local cemeteries are abandoned and I was shocked to see how over run with gophers they were. The grave next to a family member had a gopher burrowing into it and kicking out oak wood chips from the person's casket. In the children's section I found small bones the gophers had kicked out. This made me so mad,I acquired permission from the two cemetery managers to start eradicating the little pests. I started with an old air rifle and graduated to .22,.22 mag,and
410, using Sub Sonic ammo in all 3. I have finally about eradicated them all! (Now I need to find somewhere else to do some plinking)
