I shot my nephews Mark IV awhile back, fell in love, and finally bought me one. I have the Mark IV 22/45. I plan on getting the Tandemkross victory trigger because I like flat face triggers. Just want to get your thoughts on the Volquartsen Accurizing kit. I love the fact it gets rid of the magazine disconnect but is it worth it? Pros and Cons? Thanks in advance.

Totally worth it in my opinion. I was on the verge of selling my mark IV before I installed it. Night and day difference it is a totally different gun now and I love it and would never dream of selling it. The trigger is now close to as good as my High Standard Citation. It was pretty easy to install. Took maybe 45 min to an hour

I have four 22/45 MKIV's. Three of them have the Voltquarsen Kit. Keep one stock in case of a return. It makes an incredible difference & is by far the best $99 I ever spent on improving a handgun. I an about as far from a gunsmith as one could be and yet I was still able to install the kits in about a 1/2 hr. When I see fellow shooters at the range shooting a MKIV I always offer them my modified lower. Watching them with the modified lower is quite a sight to see and they always are amazed at the difference. After 1000's upon 1000's of rds fired I have never had a single issue with the mod. Highly recommended! There are no cons.

The Volquartsen Accurizing Kit is well worth the money and you can find it on E-Bay for about $80 when it's available. I have the kit in two of my Mark IVs and I have a back-up kit for when the parts wear out, like that's going to happen.

Trigger is night and day compared to stock. My Lite had a 6.5 pound trigger when I bought it. Now it's down to 1 pound 7 ounces.

I purchased the Volquartson accurizing kit from Tandemkross and bought the Tandemkross trigger for use with the Accurizing kit. The Tandemkross trigger is a flat skeletonized unit and will reduce trigger pull weight more then the Volquartson trigger. Neither have been installed yet because the trigger is being creockoted gold to to match the gold barrel on my 22/45 Lite.

I held out for a few months after acquiring both a 22/45 and MK IV Target. Then yielded to the overwhelming praise of the VQ kit. In hindsight I can't imagine not installing the kits. I echo the above praise. And I'm the sort of person that does not go after upgrades. I like keeping guns stock. THIS is an exception. It's a must do in my opinion. I had no special tools other than purchasing the highest quality hex drivers from Brownells. I'm sure it probably took me an hour, but I was slow and methodic, kept referring back to instructional vids every step of the way.

And where can I get a set of those grips the OP has on his 22/45!! Shy of buying another gun lol.

Its model #40140 "Davidsons Exclusive". Not sure if they sell these grips separate. The grips are what caught my attention at the shop!
