I took my 140K, 151K, and 144LSA to the range today. It was supposed to be calm, but winds were 21mph. Mostly out of the NW and we shoot facing north. Leaves were blowing in every direction. So, set up and have fun.
I started out with the 140K as I wanted to see if I would run into issues with the lighter springs I installed. I am happy to report no issues. First shot at 100 yard steel. Hit. Only one more hit out of the mag after that. Winds were moving me.
On to the 50 yard rimfire only area. The 140K off my range bag shooting CCI-SV. Not too shabby. I really like the orange front sight post. It showed up very well whether I went for paper or steels.
The 151K results. I shot it with both CCI-SV & S&B Club. No more S&B in the 151. It doesn't function well using it. Hits on target, just too soft I believe. CCI was perfect.
I had no idea why I was so far left on paper. The 151 was all but perfect on the steels. I let my buddy shoot it, he had a blast.
The 151 was better at the 100 yard steels once wind calmed for a few minutes. Ran 7 out of 10 standing. Great gun. Deadly on the 50 yard steels.
The 144 I shot at a 1-1/2" dot from 50 yards. I could barely see the dot. Orange dot on cardboard was probably not a good call in the contrast dept., but here is what she delivered. Probably more me than anything else. I ran the Tac22 in the 144.
Had a ball even in the windy conditions. Started in the upper 30's and was at 43° once done. Created a new Mossy convert too.
