Here are a few pictures of my recently acquired Marlin XT-MTW 22 magnum. It has a few light marks from use, but over all a very nice rifle.
I was on the hunt for a 983 with the Fleur De Lis stock after seeing pictures that Signalman1 posted. I know, I know, that dang Signalman. :D
During the hunt I found this XT-MTW??? Didn't know what it was, it had the stock that I was in search of, so, I asked Signalman. I know, I know..... and now it sits on my bench. :D
Thank you Signalman for being so willing to answer my questions. :bthumb:

Tsb3 sir what a nice looking rifle :gun4: :gun4: :gun4: and if you have other marlin rifles in the 883 or 983 models you will notice right off the batt that this Fleur de Lis stock not only looks different but also is different in how nice it feels...it's one of the best Marlin stocks I own. Congrats on getting one and thanks for sharing. :bthumb:

By the way welcome to the club :D

Thanks guys...

I still have not shot it yet, Mother Nature has not been cooperating. The stock also has some tiger stripping. Not sure that I have seen that in walnut before.

That's a really nice rifle. I stay on the lookout for nice Marlins in my travels. I've looked in every shop and classified in my area, to no avail. Every one I come across is much more suited to be a tomato stake than a rifle. I guess I haven't got the knack for it you and Signalman do.

Claytonsdad sir I never knew they even made them until some one here on RFC posted a picture of it and I asked if he ever wanted to sell it let me know...well it lasted about as long as this message and offered it up to me and HECK YES I bought it.

it just takes time to find them...I found one in Ohio at a gun shop back there when I went to get my daughter to bring her home from college and I went to visit my best friend a member here on RFC one Jeff Miller. He and I went around his area to check out real guns shops where he lives...there are none where I live. I helped him spend his money on a new rifle. Great trip. :gun4: :gun4: :gun4:
