I have a newer mayfield model and it does well with blazer which I consider to be just CCC SV but a high velocity version.

I've gotta say I have good accuracy with Rem-Golden in my 2014 Mayield. It's HV also. But SV does well too. Just depends on the rifle.

 

I'm sticking with mostly std vel in mine as it's older and I've already replaced the buffer once.

 

My 60 shoots norma tac22 slightly better than the blaser 40gr. It does not like cci sv.

 

Mine does not like cci sv either .

 

I shoot standard velocities cci .. and some blazers...

Standard velocity is better , in the older guns.

 

High velocity is fine. Just check your buffer to see if it's a old brittle one. Hyper velocity stay away from. Not a pressure problem but the speed of the bolt blowing back hitting the buffer harder.

 

Both however I just shoot CCI SV in mine. It functions perfectly and is more accurate

I agree that SV is usually more accurate, but they don't always fully cycle - catch the empty going out OR doesn't cawk the hammer. (some forums don't allow c*ck). Not conducive to double-taps.

 

never had one issue with my 60's and or 795's using CCI SV. mine are 100% stock rifles
