Lightweight 10 Shot revolvers

I have had an itch to get a lightweight double 22 revolver for my GoBag for a while. A small 3” revolver and 300 hundred rounds of ammo doesn’t take up much space. The problem is that no one makes one anymore. At least not with my specs. Double action, lightweight, 10 shot with a 3” barrel. Ruger, Taurus and S&W all make an 8 shot that fits those wants, but no 10. Ruger and S&W both have a 10 shot but are heavy with longer than wanted barrels. H&R made one back in the day but the ones I’ve come across have been pretty shot out and loose with mechanical issues. Anyway, just curious if this was something that anyone would want outside of me.

how about this you only lose 1 round, it will shoot 9 it's a recreation of the HS sentinel it is a DA/SA with a swing out cylinder and you get a 22 WMR cylinder to boot. 3 inch barrel a bit heavier than a Smith 317 but a heck lots cheaper.
Diamondback Sidekick
I forgot about seeing those. I’m not real sure on their quality though. DB firearms can be a little hit and miss. It might be worth looking into though. Thanks.

The term six gun always meant a revolver but now that meaning is lost, anything over 6 can be any gun. why dont you check out the Charter arms they make a lightweight in the Pathfinder
in 2 inch and the 4 inch with 8 rounds, same size as a smith J frame and less expensive than either Smith or Ruger, I have always preferred them to Taurus I own the Ruger LCRx I find it too bulky it does not fall in the category of a 317, but the Charter does . check it out.

I voted no as I am not big fan of double action revolvers. I much prefer single action ones but do own one D/A 22 revolver. It is an 8 shot Rossi Plinker. This is a true jewel. It is accurate, has a great high polish blue finish, great trigger, and came at a great price. None the less it is discountinued. I found it at a gunshow, new in the box. The box was badly scruffed and I asked the seller how long he had had it. He checked his records and he had been dragging it around to gunshows for 5 years with no takers. I offered him a little less than his asking price and after a several minute stare down with neither of us blinking he accepted.

I would post one but am going to beg off due to my current physical condition. The only thing about it I never cared for was the rubber grip it came with. Being made from rubber was fine but it really didn't fit my hand like I wanted. I did some research and found it and Rossi's circuit judge revolver have the same grip frame and found an after market grip for the CJ that I am very satisfied with.
