Here is my 1712 in a left hande Wooster stock. I've added a Bills Bolt knob now too, need a new picture

Shot it at the first match of the season and hit a personal best of 22/40.

 

Ruger 10/22, Raptor stock, Fedderson 16" tapered barrel, Kidd single-stage trigger, Que'd bolt, Vortex Crossfire II 16-24x 50mm scope. Old picture - different scope, barrel and trigger. I also sometimes use a CZ-455 American. It shoots about as well but the picture would be less interesting.

Ruger MKIII, 8" Tactical Solutions barrel, VQ trigger and associated parts, DIY grips (Pear), DIY modified iron sights (narrower front & rear). DIY barrel weight from Harbor Freight. The bulky grips made perfect alignment with my left eye shooting while right-handed and let me use my middle finger on the trigger. The VQ trigger was good to begin with and after several thousand rounds and a bit of stoning and polishing, it's incredible.

After several years with the grips shown above, it's now much more conventional-looking:

This year is 541T sporter barrel. Topped with a Sightron SIIBS 6-24SIL. (not shown). It's in the middle. The bottom rifle is my dad's 541S that he shoots silhouette with.

My brother's 10/22 (actually a Charger) with VQ guts. It now has a Nikon 4-14 Buckmaster and Kidd bead blasted 18" match bull barrel in place of the stocker.

The southpaw shooter regularly whoops me at any side by side games. Easily. And he just really started shooting about 2 years ago.
He shoots mid-high 20's/40 with it, and got a 5 chicken pin on what I think was his 3rd time out. :bthumb:

BS! I shot all the way up to a Hunter class AAA, with a 452 American. I use a Browning repro 52C sporter now.

Savage mkII bv, boyds ss evolution stock in applejack, dip trigger guard and bottom metal, dip 25moa base, no name rings but they are light and stout, rifle basix trigger 1.5 lb (awsome), scope 4-16x42 Nikon monarch 3 with Nikoplex.

 

IHMSA Charger

Here is my Charger I use to shoot Unlimited Small Bore. Kidd barrel, Brimstone trigger, Weaver KT 15 scope. Stock modifications are my handiwork or my fault depending on
your opinion.

 

I also use a Browning 52 Repro (Japanese) for Hunter Silhouette. Wears a Nikon Monarch 2-7x, which I know is a handicap, but I just like this combo too much to change.

 

My other Hunter class rifle. Cooper M36 with Burris 6-18X scope.

 

Here is my budget-budget rifle...

A Savage Mark II with fluted heavy barrel in a Boyd's Pepper (grey) Tacticool stock, with a Barska 18x40AO on top. Nothing too exotic, but it will do for now.

Here is my silhouette rifle. A CZ 455 American with a Leupold FX-3 in 12 power. Some trigger work, bed job, rubber butt pad,muzzle recrowned and some lead shot in the forearm to move the balance point forward and that is about it.
