Lapua Polar Biathlon?

Looking around for Lapua ammo and aside from some marked pistol there's a few places with Polar Biathlon available. The pricing is similar to Center-X. From advertising sounds like it's perfect for winter, how is it the rest of the time? (and yes, I know, best bet is to get a rifle tested and buy a conex full of the lot at a time, etc...) But if someone were looking to pick some up for say 100yrds, possibly out to 200, any votes?

Definitely Good Shooting Inc. Also Champion's Choice. Premium rimfire ammo (Lapua, RWS) is scarce these days. I check the Good Shooting and Champion's Choice web sites daily and act quickly if what I want is in stock.

Every few days I do a google search for whatever I currently want, for example; 'midas+ for sale'. A few scam sites usually show at the top of the page since they pay to be listed first. The established and familiar names will be further down the list. The acid test I use on the unfamiliar sites is to put some ammo in the cart and go to checkout. If they don't take credit cards and only accept Venmo or Zelle they are almost certainly a scam.

Gunbroker is also useful for finding ammo. If a search turns up something I look for the seller's web site and run the test. Using this method I recently I got a brick of Midas+ at a fair price from Saint Barbs Bullets in Seattle.

Polar Biathlon is different from Lapua's standard smallbore rifle ammo in two basic ways. It's a bit faster and it has a different bullet. It is loaded on the same machines, or at least on one of the same machines that load CX, M+, and X-Act.

For comparison, Polar Biathlon first below, Lapua rifle varieties (Center X, Midas +, and X-Act) next. The different bullet on the PB ammo serves to make for more reliable loading with biathlon repeaters.
