Is the Apachee kit still the best trigger for Savage rimfire?

Just won an auction for a Savage 93R17 BVTLSS 17hmr stainless bull barrel with thumbhole stock. My buddy has the Apachee trigger installed in his MKII accutrigger and it breaks clean at about 9 ounces. Is this still the best route to go for a target trigger? I saw the Rifle Basix trigger but it only goes to 1.25 pounds and not sure its as safe since it doesn't have the accutrigger safety. Is there anything else I should look at?

I also have both and like them both. The Apache is lighter, but unless I manipulate the bolt carefully it sometimes doesn't cock. Not a big deal to me since just lifting the bolt handle again will cock it. But some people might find it an issue.

I use the RB in my bench rifle. I find it promotes trigger discipline. When pulled very slowly it has a slight amount of creep. After that the trigger breaks cleanly. For me it works like a two stage trigger and helps me concentrate on the shot.

Ordered an Apachee trigger Thursday night. Got it today. Immediately started the install in my MK II BTV. Pretty straightforward. Only real tricky part was getting the sear back in, but a little fiddling will get it right. At first, the trigger would lock up and I couldn't get it to fire. After taking everything apart a couple of times, I found out the spring was screwed in too much. After getting it set properly, everything worked as advertised.

The kit does exactly what I was hoping it would. Not sure what weight I have it set for, but it definitely lighter than the stock one, and feels great. I was a little hesitant to spend that much, but I think it's worth it.

I bought an apache trigger for my FV and initially set it about as low as possible(too light). As result anything jarring to the gun would trip the trigger safety requiring the bolt to be recocked. I ended up increasing the trigger pull to effectively eliminate this and Its been great since. A couple months ago I finally bought a trigger pull gauge and was able to find out that my current trigger is set at 11 ounces.

No complaints. I'd happily but an apache trigger again.
