Both are so close price doesn't matter.
Just curious what people think.

I have heard of the Hi-Lux but, have never seen one in the wild.
Mueller seems to get a lot of grief over communications, it seems. However, both of my recent dealings with them have been professional and prompt. I recently jumped from a Weaver T-24 to their 40x56 and find it to be a great scope if you like tiny hairs and a .125" dot.

The Mueller's are OK for the price point, and now that they have wiely decided to make the lifetime warranty no hassle it's even better. However, a few years ago I spent a little more and bought a couple Vortex scopes, also a no hassle lifetime warranty and a better scope than my Mueller's.
Which model Vortex?
Just tried out a Venom 5-25x56mm and was quite impressed with the glass to 200 yards.

Agree 100% but no zero stop. I fully understand for some no zero stop is fine, but for me it's a must have, if I am going to be dialing my scope often.
On my Swift no zero stop is not an issue as I might have to adjust once when I shoot my sighers then that's it and I can hold off for wind because I will not use it to shoot beyond 50 yards.
But for the NLR22 shoots I'm going to begin shooting in I can see where a zero stop will be important, at least to me.
Believe me when I say if the Match-Pro had a ZS I'd own one possibly two.

I will amend my prior list and add Athlon. As far as model, as high up the food chain as you are comfortable with or find a deal on. If you take a look at a poll of what NRL22/PRS shooters use, Athlon makes a strong showing. I have no experience with them, but I would highly consider at Midas Tac or an Ares BTR if I had to have illumination. Here's a list of competitors rigs from a NRL22 poll and tucked in there with the Razors and NFs are a bunch of Helos and Argos.

NRL22 Equipment Poll

I am starting to question parallax settings. I used to be a as low as I can go, being really happy with the 20m afforded by my K525i, but talking with some folks using Leupold Mark 5HD (50yd), they report not having issues with the 'danger close' targets. Even looking at the NRL22 Nationals that just went down last week, there were Mark 5HD's out there holding their own.

Many votes on here for the Bushnell Match Pro, I’d second that. Plus use the Bushnell Ballistics ap and you can shoot out to 250 yards Easily.

it’s only available direct as they had to cutout retailers to get It to $500 for competitors who have to stay under the NRL price restrictions. I owned the Arken and Bushnell at the same time and decided to kept the Bushnell.
