Hushkaboom was feeling generous- 69A purchase

Well, I almost but not quite feel guilty about buying the nicest 69A I and several of us have ever seen. Hush sent me some pics last night - well, actually videos of all four sides - a model 69A that he was thinking of selling. Several of my buddies know I have a weakness for these little jewels so I had him bring it up to a gun show we often meet up and trade stories at. After seeing it in person it was actually better than the videos he sent and I couldn't walk away from it- especially at the very reasonable price he offered it to me. Several people tried to buy it out from under me before he even got to me but he must have felt sorry for me and looked me up right away.
I'll try to post some pics or Hush's videos if I can figure out how but the blue is like factory- a deep, rich almost black with no blemishes. Wood and finish is almost perfect less just some almost unnoticeable light dings from handling. Even the original magazine was in pristine condition. Swept back bolt, groove top action, and the standard sights in also perfect condition.

Looking forward to getting this one to range to see if it shoots as well as it looks- and in my experience that is practically a given.

Thanks Cameron...

I bought one like you are describing about a year ago , from a Rimfire Central member, and that rifle was 100% perfect. Several people have seen it and said that they didn’t’t believe it had ever been fired.. It now resides in my safe as a “safe queen”. I love those 69-A’s

Nice rifle, can you get the dimensions of the sight filler from your barrel as I picked up a breed receiver like yours complete with the shark fin front sight and I'm trying to assemble it as correct as possible. Mine will never be as nice as yours as it was used as a Fish & Game train rifle so it has lots of bluing loss and the departments info was also lightly op's on it. Still hunting a correct stock for mine but I did assemble a nice bolt from all NOS parts and I have the correct rear sight on it from my peep sights stash.
